Starting or thinking of starting a wedding is extremely difficult . For the most part this process will give you Stress, and perhaps you may either loose or gain a few pounds from this. It takes alot out of someone especially when you have never planned an event this important before. I normally say “leave it to the pros” but in this case we understand that planning wedding can be very expensive. Sometimes budget decisions need to be address and this is where we find the most difficulty .

Sit down with your fiancee’ and create a vision board or for a better word ” Wedding vision”.

What kind of music, food, entertainment , photographer, venue, sanctuary, would you like to utilize for this memorable day ? These are very broad questions but each require a sum that will allocate and add toyour pending budget.

You absolutely HAVE to pick the date first, even if it’s a couple of years in advance. Lots of places give discounts if you have your wedding during off-season or if you have it on a Friday or a Sunday.

Then perhaps you can make a guest list to see how many people you think will attend so you can access . Some receptions halls want a minimum of people to attend the party .

 

Perhaps you can be a little more organized and get a binder for your wedding ideas, pictures, receipts, etc with dividers for: Ceremony, Attendants, Music, Guest List, Attire, Reception, Honeymoon, Budget, Contracts/Receipts, Vendors and Venues, etc. or if you don’t want to do that , with all of the different technology that’s out there I’m sure you have an ipad or an iphone you can use :).

 

Start searching for the area in which you want to get married. Is it a destination wedding ? Or is it a local wedding ?

Star researching cuts and styles of dresses you like for yourself and your attendants. Pinterest usually has enormous galleries on wedding gown. It is very popular. We actually create a board on this, Check it out HERE .

Keep in mind that you should not spend your entire savings on your wedding because you will need it later to purchase a home or an apartment .
